November 22-23, 2021

El Morro Colonial Days is a two-day event hosted in the MPR. The MPR is transformed backward in time to the colonial days, complete with several crafting stations, a Native American camp, colonial kitchen, and more! We will have an all-school assembly that will present a short skit describing the Colonial Days experience. In addition to this, there will be storytelling experiences, P.E. and lunchtime activities, classroom crafts, and a bead trading center open for business.  Colonial Days is a highlight of every El Morro student’s elementary years!

Colonial Days Village Crafts Include:

  • Candle Dipping
  • Corn Husk Doll Making
  • Gratitude Letters with Colonial Seals
  • Making Bead Necklaces
  • Gods Eyes
