Green Team

Green Team is a group of PTA leaders who oversee El Morro’s environmental efforts. The goals of El Morro’s Green Team are simply to:

• Reduce,
• Reuse,
• Recycle, and
• Rot (compost)

...all that we can in order to reduce waste, decrease purchasing and disposal costs, create a healthier school environment, reduce our carbon footprint, and serve as a model of sustainability for the school campus and the greater community. We do this through engaging, hands-on and creative education and mentoring for students, teachers, janitorial and administrative staff.
