A tradition for over 65 years, Boo Blast is held on El Morro’s creepy playground campus, from 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. You and your little goblins can dress in costume and enjoy the festivities including our spooky Haunted House, giant ferris wheel, and more! Sign up to help out for an hour or two!
Or, if you dare, get your face painted like a menacing monster or zany zombie by Star’s face painting team from the Sawdust Festival! There will be a fiendish food court as well as kooky desserts for everyone at the cake walk and boolicious bake sale. Finally, don’t forget to stop and play at the terrifying game booths and win some fabulous prizes.

Purchase your Boo Blast tickets, wristbands and t-shirts online to avoid the hassle of waiting in lines. You will also be able to purchase your tickets and wristbands on the day of the event.
Each ticket cost is $1. Games are typically 1 to 2 tickets and rides generally cost between 2 and 5 tickets EACH. Tickets will be transferable to the Haunted House, Photo Booth and Bake Sale. Baked goods start at two tickets. Food trucks DO NOT accept tickets or wristbands!
Wristbands are also available for $25. Wristbands are good for unlimited RIDES & HAUNTED HOUSE ONLY. Please note: wristbands are not transferable for game booths, photo booth, or bake sale. You must purchase tickets separately for these items. Lost tickets or wristbands are not replaceable or refundable.

Please arrive early to peruse dozens of fabulous items available through our Boo Blast silent auction! There is also a “Buy it Now” option on all baskets! Cash and credit cards accepted. Auction closes at 6:30pm and all winners will be sent a text message and need to come claim and pay for their baskets before they leave.
All items are donated by parents and organized as a classroom donation. For more information on how to get involved with the Boo Blast Silent Auction or if you have something you would like to donate, please contact email@example.com…you’ll always get a quick response!
There will be FREE parking at the REEF POINT parking lot across from Trader Joes (1:30-8:30 – trolleys) and Crystal Cove State Park (3:30-8:30 – buses) parking lots. When the REEF POINT lot is full, cars will be directed to the Crystal Cove State Park parking which is on the ocean side of PCH at Newport Coast Drive. We have a lot of trolleys and buses this year to get you there as soon as possible!
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO parking at El Morro School or at the El Moro Campground or the El Moro Day Use Area. There is NO parking at Los Trancos (The Beachcomber) either.
We need PTA parents, friends and family to volunteer time to “man” a game booth and other events for one-hour shifts throughout the evening.
