A tradition for over 65 years, Boo Blast is held on El Morro’s creepy playground campus, from 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. You and your little goblins can dress in costume and enjoy the festivities including our spooky Haunted House, giant ferris wheel, and more!  Sign up to help out for an hour or two!

There will be a fiendish food court as well as kooky desserts for everyone at the cake walk and boolicious bake sale. Finally, don’t forget to stop and play at the terrifying game booths and win some fabulous prizes.

Boo Blast T-Shirt Contest

Congratulations to the Boo Blast T-shirt Contest Winners

It is always difficult to pick the winners for the Boo Blast T-shirt contest.  Once again, we had several creative and artistic submissions for the contest.  The overall quality of the artwork was outstanding.  A winner was selected for each grade level and an overall winner out of so many excellent candidates.  The overall winner is 3rd grade student Satya Mansukhani!  Her design will be featured on next year’s (2018) Boo Blast T-shirt!  Grade level winners were TK – Alexander Entress, Kindergarten – Macie Shearer, 1st Grade – Taylor Jones, 2nd Grade – Ruby Herzfeld, 3rd Grade – Danielle Nagy, 4th Grade – Marco Calderon, and 5th Grade – Lexi Moran. Congratulations!

Boo Blast Sponsorship

El Morro’s “Boo Blast” Halloween Carnival is held every year at El Morro Elementary School. This annual event is only made possible because of our generous sponsors, as well as the hundreds of volunteers, friends and family members of the El Morro students. It is attended by families throughout Laguna Beach and is a cherished community event for all ages. Funds raised go back to the school and support the PTA sponsored programs for all of the children who attend El Morro.

The “Boo Blast” is always highly anticipated by children who live in Laguna Beach and surrounding communities. Families enjoy old fashioned games, safe carnival rides for all ages, a parent constructed haunted house, face painting, cake walk, yummy food and more. There’s music, dancing and a great sense of community spirit. The “Boo Blast” is a 65 plus year tradition and provides fun memories for all kids of all ages! The “Boo Blast” is only possible through the generous sponsors who contribute to and underwrite the “Boo Blast” every year. We hope you will consider being one of our sponsors this year.

Please consider the following levels of sponsorship:

$250 Banner Sponsor: A colorful banner (18″ x 54″) with your family’s, kids or business name will be hung on the entry wall which all Boo Blast attendees walk past to the carnival. It’s fun to see all the different designs and supporters names. A great way to support the Boo Blast! (Past sponsors include local businesses, Bus Stops and Grandparents!)

$525 T-Shirt Sponsor: The Boo Blast T-Shirt features the Award Winning student’s drawing on the front, the names of T-Shirt sponsors on the back. Your company name/ logo, or family name will be on this shirt which will be worn all year and all over town! The T-shirts and printing are donated by a local surf wear company and sell out every year!

$700 T-Shirt and Banner Sponsor: You will receive recognition on both the T-Shirt and on the large banner which will hang on PCH before and during Boo Blast.

$1,000 Premier Ride Sponsor: A banner with your company name/logo or family name will be prominently displayed at one of the fantastic carnival rides. Your name/logo will also appear prominently on the Boo Blast T-Shirt and on an individual large banner displayed on PCH.

Please let us know that we can count on you this year.
