• PTA’s Mission-The mission of PTA is to positively impact the lives of children and families by representing, empowering and supporting our members with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication to have their essential needs met and share in the power of belonging. For more than 100 years,  National PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth. The National PTA has promoted the education, health, and safety of children, youth, and families.

• El Morro PTA's Mission - Our mission is to connect and strengthen the community within our school and provide our students with many enrichment options. Communication, support, advocacy, fundraising, volunteer opportunities, program funding and grants are made possible by our PTA. Membership and donations aid in the funding of the amazing programs provided to all students. If you are able, please consider signing up your family for individual memberships. • California and National PTA - Our PTA follows the state and National PTA guidelines, forming a nationwide network of members working on behalf of all children and youth. California State PTA CAPTA and National PTA organizations offer many valuable resources and guidances

• PTA Membership- PTA welcomes parents, family members, teachers, administrators and concerned adults representing diversity in cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and political and religious beliefs.  PTA policies state that the organization is nonprofit,  noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan.  Membership is open to anyone who believes in the Mission and Purposes of the National Parent Teacher Association. Individual members may belong to any number of PTAs and pay dues in each. Every person who joins a local PTA automatically becomes a member of both the state and National PTAs.  With your help, we can continue to work towards PTA’s goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child. Join Now!
